Prepared an interactive presentation of pictures and video about conducting coral reef science, my research, threats to the ocean to three, 40 minute kindergarten science classes. We went on a 'virtual dive' and saw corals, turtles, and sharks through Google Ocean's Underwater Streetview.  Different classes responded differently to various aspects, one group really liked the crabs while the anemone video was a big hit in the next class.  Everyone can related to the ocean in some way and it was a great experience exposing these city kids to coral reefs.  They asked me a lot of questions about sharks, but there was one girl who liked parrotfishes!

Connected with middle school and high school students in the United Kingdom while in the field at Heron Island Research Station through the Catlin Education Programme Coral Live! Skype classroom. Gave the perspective a marine scientist and created personalized presentation based the classes' questions regarding coral reefs.
